I have been looking at the mud flaps to go on the back of our 2007 Crescendo. I am looking for something I can put on that will protect the front end of my toad. Have found everything from the rubber flaps with stell plates hanging to the double brush systems. Anyone have enough experience with the brushes to pass judgement or should I just stay with the regular weighted flaps???????????

I use a device called Rock-Solid. I has wide strips. Nothing like this is going to save you 100% of the time. You can only hope that it works 90% of he time. Blue Ox has a full cover that extends back and that traps about another 8% so you can take a look at what they have as well.

My Rock-Solid is mounted approximately 3 feet forward from the shown location.

Shoreman,.......let me wish you a warm welcome to IRV2, a wonderful site where you will learn things you would never dream of. As for your question about rear protectors, on my previous Pace arrow, it had the brush type two piece which worked well, my latest Southwind of 5+ years, has the solid rubber one with the lower chrome accents with reflectors. I've never noticed any damage to the toad from either one, only draw back I have is when backing the rig, which I have to do to turn around in our driveway, sometimes it scrapes on the ground and rubbing the bottom. Other than that, they do keep debri off of your toad. Good luck, and safe traveling down the yellow brick road.

RockSolid worked good for me, but I had to cut a small opening for the hitch, easy to do with a sharp knife.
