Cab Over Bed Hatch Replacement

Hi Everyone:

Arriving back to your RV with your hatch laying on the ground in front of the RV made my head tilt a little like a dog hearing a new sound for the first time:

Having a hard time finding a replacement hatch for my 2007 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser.

Here’s the dimensions measured from the inside:

Exterior of the frame: 31”x21.5” and interior of the frame is 25.5” x16”.

I don’t have specific cutout dimensions but can work on that this week.

The model Dometic: M-50G or SE1087

Anyone done this?

I found the replacement for my 2008 Vista Mini Cruiser on Amazon.

Dometic - Dekalin Dometic Midi Heki 70cm x 50cm Roof thickness 25-45 mm Straight Ventilation And Dekalin sealant For caravan Or camper
Sold by: Freizeitschmiede GmbH & Co. KG

I paid $419.99 in May 2018. Its now up to about $550 with free shipping.
This is Amazon's web page link:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073W5TR3C...roduct_details

I didn't want to adapt some other type of skylight/vent, as this is also your upper level escape hatch. I lost my hatch cover because I drove with it not fully closed and latched.
