I have a 2006 Sun Voyager with a coax connection that I cannot figure out what it is for. In the Power Cord Compartment there is a outlet box with a phone connection on one side and a coax connection on the other. My park cable connection is a seperate coax hook-up which works fine. My literature does not tell me anything about this connection. Does anyone know what this coax connection in the outlet box goes to? Thanks for any information.

There are two possible (or three) answers

1: External TV, though usually these are on the entrance side, not the service side

2: Original park cable inlet, On my rig it IS the park cable inlet But I have a different rig.. Now I added a different cable for sat-tv in. And it may be the original owner (I am assuming used rig here) feels as I do.

3: Opps, we put it there by mistake...

This can happen cause a company buys a truck load of plates, the plates have phone and antenna fittings,, and they only use the phone.

Thanks for the info. The plate item make sense but I never thought of it. I will take it off tomorrow and see what is behind it. This was a new leftover coach when I bought it last year. I already tried to run a cable from it to another TV but no reception. Thanks for your info.

One of the connections is for Cable hook up and the other is for a portable satellite dish hook up. Usually the one in the same plate as the phone is for cable TV and the stand alone one is for satellite but could have been changed or was cross wired at factory.

I traced my park cable connection to a dead end cable under the shower that was taped to the other end of another dead end cable, I connected them together and bam I now have a park cable connection.
