Hi all, first post here. I have a '96 Sun Voyager '34. I get an enormous amount of wind noise at the top front corner of my entry door when traveling at highway speed. I've replace the door seal, which helped just a little, but the noise is still very loud and fatiguing over time. I suspect it may be caused by the drip ledge over the entry way, but I'm not sure.

Anyone else have this problem and if so, how did you solve it?

Hello and and to the Gulf Stream Owners Forum. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy the website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted.
One thing you can try is to add a wind breaker in front of the door jamb. This is a 1" X 1" angle aluminum or stainless steel piece that can be adhered to the wall with a double sided tape. This causes the wind to be diverted around the door opening. Let us know what you decide and/or try to resolve this.

OK, thanks. I may try that with just the top area as that seems to be where all the noise is being generated. If that doesn't work, I'll try it with the complete door jam. I'll report back.

Welcome from another proud Gulf Stream owner ...You did not say if this was your first RV, but in IMO there will always be rattles, wind and other un-traceable sounds in any RV as you travel down the road. To me this is part of the charm of the RV experience. Try what Gary says he has been at this a long time ...Good Luck...D

Our dealership had a lot of luck with foam tape seal. This is the seal that comes in rolls and can be found at lowes or home depot. It has a sticky back. Just pull of the paper backing and press on the door jamb. The half inch wide by nine sixteenth worked best.
