I have a 2006, 8386, Crescendo and want to add a powered vent (fantastic Vent) in the bedroom. Has anyone done this. Wondering if Goof Stream made any provisions for power anywhere. I plan on it being a wireless control unit so all I need is 12 volt power.
Oh yes I did try to contact Goof Stream to no avail.

Drop the inside trim from the vent and see if there is any power wires stubbed there. Also you can probably snake power over from a nearby light.

Check out this thread and link in the tread about the fan upgrade kit for $39.95, you do not need to take the old vent out and face the potential roof problems. Several others tried the kit and liked the solution to the problem, one even had no electric fan in place and when he removed the frame, it was there.

As long as you can find the electric, my guess is when you take off the frame you will find the 12 volt there.

bathroom ceiling exhaust fan

Well, if you had given more appropriate information to begin with, you may have gotten the answer you were looking for. Seems Everyone made the assumption that you already had a non-powered vent in your bedroom.

My guess is 37 years in electrical construction taught you little about politeness and common courtesy. It did however teach you how to be offensive and abusive. At least you're good at something! Have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do not think you need to, he has offended and now he is gone. I think my response was appropriate based of his post.
