Generator Light

[HH2]

I have a 2005 Gulf Stream Crescendo...The light on the generator switch (green one) came on while I was driving and it won't turn off. It used to come on only when the generator was on. Is this light supposed to stay on? If not any ideas on what may be causing it to stay on?

You may have a short in the control harness that runs from the generator to the remote switch. If your generator is on a slide out, could the harness been pinched by slide out? Let us know what you find out. Thank you.
