I would suggest to check the system with a digital volt meter. The charge indicator is not very accurate for diagnosing a problem. When the battery is fully charged and rested you should have a reading of appx 12.7 volts. When the gen is running or you are plugged into 120V you should show appx .6 to 1.0 volt higher then battery voltage.
The coach battery may be new defective, so it also should be load tested. Also check/clean all battery cables and connections, including frame ground connections.
That's where I would start.
