I have just purchased a 1995 Gulf Stream Scenic Cruiser 8384WFD. We looked at the Unit in December Purchased it this week and will drive out to pick it up in May this year. When we drove it we were very happy with the way it handled and will figure out the little things later.

I have a lot of questions to ask here if anyone has the time to answer and has the answers.

The Dealership sent me the manuals that were in the Motor Home, but the following manuals were missing.

Owners Manual, I have no Idea how the Allison Automatic is operated or how the Cruise Control operates or what a lot of the switches on the dash are for.

Generator Manual. All I know is it is Propane.

Furnace, I know it is under the dinette.

The Awning. I do not know what brand it is.

I am sure I will have some more questions as time goes by.

Thank you.

Sundancer268, welcome to iRV2.com and the Gulf Stream Owners forum. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. Congratulations on your Scenic Cruiser purchase. Contact the dealer selling you the coach and ask them to send you a copy of the appliance data sheet posted in the cabinet. If they can do a higher resolution and email it to you in a pdf format would be great. Once you have it in hand you will know the make, model and even serial numbers.
Here is a Owners Manual site that might be of help. The transmission is probably an Alison 5 or 6 speed. Hopefully it is a 6.
What chassis and size engine is in the unit? How log is the coach?
Make sure that all fluids have been changed before you take delivery so you do not have a problem on the road unnecessarily. Good luck and keep us posted.

Sundancer268-
The manuals really won't be very helpful. However, it won't hurt to have them. As RV Wizard suggested, the dealer might be able to help you. You may also be able to contact Gulfstream...they may need the VIN - that's what Fleetwood asked me for when they sent me the manuals for my Tioga.

It is a 8384 WFD, 230 HP Cummins with a 6 Speed Allison. I do not know if it is the 2000, 3000 or 4000 series Allison. The Chassis is a Spartan EC2242 and the unit is 34' long. It fits our needs perfectly as it is not so long that it will not fit in our barn and it has no slide out units. My wife and I like the flat floor up front and the only concern she has is the fact that it has a cook top and not a stove/oven combination. She loves to cook. The dealer is a Coachman class C dealer and does not deal with the Class A's except on trade. I did copy the Stickers both behind the Drivers Seat and the sticker in the cabinet above the counter top. I am confused though I find two different serial numbers, the one by the drivers seat is from Spartan and the one in the cabinet is from Gulf Stream. I am guessing the Spartan one will be the one I register it under, I will pick up the title later this week from my Credit Union and begin the process of converting it to Michigan Registration. Thanks for the help and time and effort to reply.
