I am new to rving and just purchased a new-to-me Tourmaster. After reading posts on here I was very worried I made a bad choice. I must say that I have had several silly questions and minor problems. I have emailed Gulf Stream several times and have had great responses (even over the holidays). Jim Creech, Millie Birchfield, and Angela Benn have been wonderful.

I have to say the same thing for Spartan Chassis. Dave Martens helped me troubleshoot a wiring issue and a few other questions. Rick at Bigfoot has been great as well. So far I love my coach and am very happy with my choice! Go Gulf Stream.

Hello Dixieray. Thanks for the welcome. I purchased a 99 Tourmaster. I wasn't crazy about getting one that old, but the former owner owned a trucking company. He stored it indoors and very well maintained. I was dead set on a deisel, 40', 2 slides, and a maximum monthly payment, so that narrowed my search. I passed on the warranty. The former owner had traded to a dealer who offered a Good Sam one I believe. After looking at what it covered I didn't think it was worth the $$. An RV'ing friend turned me on to Progressive insurance for the savings and roadside assistance!

Our son is going to college in Winter Park. I figured what better time to get into RV'ing. We are planning our first trip end of March.......let the adventure begin!

Irecently bought a 2004 36' Crescendo. I have had good luck calling the techs at GS and them returning the call the same day. Mine is an entry level DP, but it is a DP. It has somethings I don't like, but overall I am very happy. I know several people don't like them at all, but I am satisfied.
