Sure, if it is not to much trouble, I would appreciate it. Do you gave any information on the Transfer Switch? I could use that also. Thanks, Ed

Ed,

I scanned a 27 page manual and tried to send it to my secondary email; gmail sent me a message the attachment was too large. It was 35mb and their limit is smaller. I tried to zip it but since it's scanned it didn't make much difference at all. I will see if I can break it up into smaller files and try that. We are leaving for Florida this week and I may not get it done before then but I will work on it when we get back in a few weeks.

The only info I have on a transfer switch is the one built into the Heart Interface inverter. I didn't think you would want that since you already replaced yours with a different unit.

Thanks, The Transfer Switch I am looking for is the Generator/Shore Power Switch. On my coach it is located under the bed.

The Inverter Transfer Switch is for selecting the Inverter if A/C power to the Inverter is lost. That is the component that burnt out on mine. When I opened up the Inverter to find out what failed I found a Relay rated for 25 Amps protected by a 30 Amp Circuit Breaker. Not a good design in my opinion. The Magnum I installed to replace the Heart also had a 25 Amp relay on the circuit board, but next to the active relay was an unused 25 Amp relay. After inspecting the Circuit Board and calling Magnum, I found out that relay was for an option I did not have but that I could wire it up in parallel with the existing relay for a 50 Amp total capacity again protected by the 30 Amp inverter Circuit Breaker.

I am jealous of the trip to Florida, we just had our first SNOW last Saturday. I want to head south for a few months. Two or three more years and then I can think about and then I can join all of the other Michigan Snow Birds.

Have a safe and happy trip and I can wait on the manual. Ed

Ed,
Oh that transfer switch,,, I wondered what that humming noise was under the bed and now I know, thanks for the info. This is our first motorhome and I'm still learning; it's quite a bit different than the 5th wheel we had.
I haven't seen that in any of the literature I have so far but I will look for it specifically and let you know.

Mike
