What model of fantastic fan do you have? Model number is on top of the motor; you can see it through the open vent. The slideout topper is for debris and not to prevent rain from getting on top of the slideout. You will need to inspect and repair or replace the seals to have a water tight slideout.

It's 865414 my real question is should the power go to the fan then to the control box or from the control box to the fan? I can put power to the red and black wires behind the circuit panel and make it work , but I don't know how to get the power to the fan! My fan will not work unless I jump the wires at the circuit panel

What is the most inexpensive way to get new slide seals replaced?

I believe 865414 is the serial number. Model numbers are 800, 900, 8000, 4000, etc. You should be able to get the model number and go to www.fantasticvents.com or pdf files you can download for help.

You should find some other RVers in your area and ask them who is a qualified technician they would recommend.
