Lookin for Mirror Support

I recently purchased a 2007 Tourmaster T40C. Having problems with the heated power mirrors. I was told by the dealer that the switch was bad, so I replaced it. Mirrors still don't work. The switch is by Renault, I have no clue who makes the mirror assemblies. I looked on the Velvac site. That setup is not supported. Does anyone out there have any insights?

Gulf Stream, like other RV manufactures, didn't have custom designed mirrors made exclusively for their RVs. They are from one of the mirror makers in the U.S. You might check with GS, even though they don't do Class As anymore, someone should know who the supplier was in 2007.

You could also search your mirror for a brand or number that could give a clue. You mentioned Velvac, a major RV supplier, how about Rosco or Lucerix?

Still Looking

Thank You for the links. I checked the sites. No luck. In researching, I have observed that Gulf Stream appears to use the same mirror assembly on all of their 2007 Class A coach models. The head is unique. The blind spot mirror is on top. I have not seen that on any other mirror head. I am awaiting Gulf Stream Customer Service to respond to my request for info. I understand that may take a while.

Take a photo of your mirror and then use Google Image search to see if it gets identified. I'm surprised no one has chipped in with more information.

I finally got a reply back from Gulf Stream. There were two mirror vendors for Tourmaster. The first is Velvac. The other was a company called B&R Manufacturing. The mirror is an upside down euro style head. Part number, for anyone with these issues is: U818HRFMCX, Model 13TS/NG 4000. The company servicing their parts is Component Products 847-546-2775. I noticed that that mirror assembly was commonly used on 2007 Gulf Stream class A coaches. Hope this info helps any one else with power mirror issues, on 2007 Gulf Streams.

Mirrors are made by a division of Hadley, I have been able to order replacement parts and I even found a surplus RV seller who had a set of NOS so I bought them just to have in case I break one.
