Hello all,

My wife and I just recently bought a 1994 32 ft Tourmaster rear kitchen 5th wheel. We are the third owners and this is our first 5vr. I hope I typed that correctly.

We have traveled the normal route....tent camping for many years, then an Apache pop up, then after many years doing motels we bought a 1984 Coachmen 31 ft travel trailer that I almost totally remodeled and then in November we bought the Gulf Stream.

I need a lot of advice about it as it is much more complicated than the travel trailer. It has a new Dometic refrigerator, new awning, tires and air conditioner in the bedroom. Very good condition other than a fender skirt broken from a blowout. It has one slide in the DR/LR.

Hi Mike, Mike here with my wife Becky, New to me 05 crescendo 8536, We've been camping since the kids were little, they say each time one moves out, we upgrade!
Maybe you can give me some direction, I want to upgrade the 9.5 cu ft fridge to a 12 cu ft, It looks like the vents are in the correct location and there's enough physical space? Don't think I'm the first to try this. And a week after I picked her up, I lost power to the hydralic slide, the jacks still work and if I substitute power, it works. Power heads to front of the coach, were all the fuses are good, but relays are just labeled power relay.
It looks like they don't like to provide wiring diagrams, so hopefully you send me in the right direction,
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike. Make sure the drivers seat is fully forward as there is an interrupt switch controlling the slide out on it. That will hopefully correct your problem. Let us know what you find.

Hi from Europe

We (my wife Chrissy and I) just acquired a 1993 Gulfstream Sun Clipper 27' model motorhome.

A dream of ours has been to live either 50% or more on the road. Some years ago we had a Dodge bus which we converted ourselves but it lacked many of the amenities that a real RV includes as standard so that never really took off apart from a few holidays.

Our GS has only 44,000 miles on it so not overly used and seems to run well. It has a 6.2 Litre V8 GM unit in it with an auto transmission.

Our aim is to go on the road with two children aboard. For reasons of our own sanity, they'll get the rear cabin, suitably converted with bunk beds, and we'll use the living space for everything else including travel, eating and hopefully, occasionally, sleeping.

As I say in the title, we're in Europe. We're an English family that have lived in America (NC) and France for the last 20 years and need to see a lot more of Europe now. We're also looking at putting the GS on a freighter and travelling around the US for a while too.

Bob Powell.

Hey folks!

New GS owner here! Just replaced my '86 Prowler (graaawr!) with a 2000 Innsbruck 30' BHS! Loving the space!

Currently have some issues with the furnace shutting off after about 5 minutes, and I'm going to go poke around. Looking forward to chatting and learning!

Kevin
