Is there a list of automobiles that are built to be suitable for towing behind an RV? Ones that you can do this with without any modifications? We are new but know we want to tow a car with us. We recently purchased a 2007 8356 GS Crescendo DP. Figure with the 330 Cat, power should not be a problem. Would love to hear some ideas on what type of car and even what brand of hitch. We are Pilgrims here!!!!!

1st of all,

Here are lists of vehicles that can be towed behind Motorhomes.

Dinghy Tow Guide(s)

Now one of the most popular towing systems is provided by Blue OX . You will find that they have complete solutions from base plates for your car to self centering towbars for big or small weight vehicles. They also have safety cables, umbilical cords and tail light kits that you will need to install.

Do not forget that you will also need an auxiliary brake system in your toad. If you are running an RDP then I would recommend the SMI Air-Force One.

Thank you so much for the info. From what I read, I can town a 2007 Dodge 1500 with an automatic with no modifications? I have one that has lead a sheltered life, only had 16,000 miles onit, that I figured would not tow. It was one of Dodge's "lifetime powertrain" guarantee. I hate to get rid of it, now I do not have to. Thank you again!
