Newbie Questions

Hi All,
Just bought a 2009 Gulf Stream Yellowstone 40K Diesel Pusher (Caterpillar c7 Engine). I quickly realized that I have a lot to learn. Any help with these questions would be appreciated.
1. At times the DPF indicator comes on, blinking. Have had a hard time getting a straight answer on what this means, what to do. There is no regeneration switch that I can find.
2. Does anyone know where the control boxes are for the 2 drivers side slide-outs (if they have control boxes)? The control box for the super slide is on the wall in the first passenger side compartment, but I don't know where the others are.

I'll have plenty more questions, but I'll start with just these two.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

Glad to have you join us! I Can't help with your questions because I don't have that brand MH, but hang on, someone who knows about your MH will be along shortly.

Hello and and to the Gulf Stream Owners Forum. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. I am sure you will enjoy our website and forums. Good luck, stay safe and keep us posted,
Are you turning the ignition key to the run position for about 20 seconds before turning it farther to start the engine? You should do this to allow the computers to check diagnostics and in cold weather wait for the service engine or wait to start light to go out before starting the engine.
Make certain the driver seat is fully forward before putting the slideouts out. Not sure where the switches are located for your model; maybe someone else cane help you there.

I wasn't waiting before starting the engine, but will start doing that from now on.
Thanks.
