We had a similar experience on our first trip with our RV. The inverter box had died during an electrical storm (maybe due to surge, not sure), and we got lucky and a repair guy we called to come figure it out at the site just HAPPENED to have a compatible one in his truck, and we were back up and running in a couple hours (and $600 later)... but happy to have a new one! I requested some $$ back from the seller, and got it, to help cover the cost. I think I'll put a surge suppressor on it this spring.

Look for a wire left off or on a neg. post.

Look for an inline fuse heading towards the trans. It may have been tugged on.

No Allison transmission light

It was an exhaustive search and low and behold yes a neg wire hidding behind batteries
Another question will a 110 outlet with 20amps keep the batteries in motor home charge Do?

If I have no power through the converter is the problem with converter or the inveter
