No Brights or Front Clearance Lights

I had ONE front upper clearance lights out last week, so I installed a new bulb, and the bulb lit up! so I put the lens back on, a few minutes later I was checking all my lights before our trip and noticed I not only had NO front clearance light but also no high beam headlights? I have checked all the fuses and breakers to no avail. hoping for some suggestions and help.

Have you checked power at the headlight switch? Where is your dimmer switch located? The dimmer switch probably operates a solenoid. I would suspect the solenoid or wire connections at the solenoid.

First check for voltage at the clearance and headlight bulbs; could be bad sockets/ bad contacts, or a new bulb that went bad. Few years back, after 2-3 yrs procrastinating, decided to try new rectangular sealed beams in my 94 truck; to my surprise, the front lens fell off in my hands, (on BOTH bulbs) bulbs STILL burning, and NO REFLECTOR LEFT ON THE BACK GLASS. NEW BULBS made a HECK of a diff, but one of the new only lasted 30-45-days before blowing.
