I have a power gear automatic leveling system in my new to me 2009 Gulf Stream Independence. I'm having problems with the system. The system is not working. It has a 140-1226 control panel and after it goes through the boot procedure I get the following flashing lights Right, Rear, Manual Auto and when I hit the on switch I get a Jacks Down steady light.
I checked all the fuses I could find, checked the Power Gear manuals on the Power Gear web site but could not find the answer to the problem.
I called Gulf Stream to try and locate the controller. They said it was in the first or second basement door on the drivers side. I looked there and could not find it.
I'm not sure what to do next.

Thank you so much. I printed the manual which I didn't have but the problem still persists.

The only things that come to mind is a corroded brake or dirty magnets. These things may seem foreign to you ( I know they were to me ), but you will become familiar with them if you want to have your jacks in good working order. Here is a link from the Fleetwood forum that has over 500 posts Power Gear jack problem .It has been going for almost 2 years now . Those who have done a few simple tasks as outlined in that thread have been trouble free.
Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. I'll be happy to try and answer them.

I have a 2008 Sun Voyager and had the same isse. Look in the 2nd cabinet on left side. That ahold be the pumping system for the hydraulics there is a plug on the right front of the unit. Undo it and use a screw driver to check the fluid level. When I had your problem it was empty. After you fill it check the ground around ea jack for leaks. On mine they installed the line but didnot tighten it. I'll watch to see if this works for your problem.

I had a problem with my Independence power gear jacks on my way back home from Louisiana. Panel started flashing jacks became inoperable. Checked fluid that was OK, to make a long story short found out it was the control panel. I can use the reset method to operate the jacks just a pain as every time you turn the ignition on you have to reset. The replacement I have quotes of $600.00 and over for the part .
Think I will just keep using the reset method for now. I am not impressed with Power Gear or their products.
So I feel your pain.
