I know this a dumb question but what size socket is needed to remove the Anode Rod. Is it standard or metric?

A 4/5-inch extension helps clear your knuckles from the side of the rig and a longer breaker bar or short piece of pipe to extend the fulcrum will allow you to apply smooth power if needed to get it started.
