Just returned from my first week in the new 5th wheel. LOVED it. Only wish the fish had been in a better mood to bite. Anyway we found that we had some receptacles that did not work. With the help of our dealers service department over the phone the issue was fixed by me and the Father in law. Now for the Question, does all RV manufacturers use the cheap receptacles where the wire is pressed into the back of the receptacle and the insulation is pierced? This was the whole issue I had. Just looked like a cheap crappy way of doing a job.

Not all, but most use the press togehter receptacles for several reasons. They qualify as a junction box with NFPA, they are quicker on an assembly line and they are less expensive.
