Howdy yall,
How yall are?? Me I got a problem... My skylight over my shower couldn't take the 1&1/2" hailstones that pounded upon it and now I got me another air-vent, I garontee... I tried to find one online and they want $200+!!!!! Ain't no way I can pay that much!!!! And then have to pay someone to put it on... Can't get my wheelchair on top of the GB, ramps are too short.. Does anybody know where in the Abilene-SanAngelo-Brownwood,Texas area, or within 200 miles of there, I might find a new or used one cheaper??
Thanx, for ANY help, I garontee!!!

Howdy Mike,
I really don't know the dimensions.. I can't climb a ladder anymore.. It is a corner type shower with a 3 panel glass front in a 33' Georgie Boy(1998) Swinger.. if you can find it from that info... It's one of the neo(whatever) type of showers.. I saw some new ones @ Camping World for $135, but I think probably they are lite weight and will break like mine did.. In searching I found some stronger ones, but
they were over $200+ and I don't have that much to spend on it.. On the IR2
forum someone said they covered the whole skylight with the repair tape.. Mine has a hole in it, but maybe that could be covered with a broken top of an old one
glued on and then cover with the tape...
I don't know what to do!!! Can you help me??

thanx,
butterbean

Howdy Fordman,
Thanx, for the answer.. Mine is just a single piece of plastic and the hail did a # on it.. I may just try to 'southern/Aggie' engineer it by gluing a piece over the hole..
If I can find someone to do it.. not much help left out here in the boonies!!! If I
could find a broken skylight with a good 10-12" top in it...
I'm a Fordman myself,
butterbean

is there any auto salvage yards near you, maybe have someone check there if they have any old RVs they are parting out.

Hi, I'm getting one from ez tops. rvskylight.com. Mine's a 26" by 32" $116. Made from 1/8 lexan. so it should be bullet proof! Toss somebody up on your roof to measure. It's an easy install, a screw gun and some 5200. Peter

HOWDY PETERS,
Thanx, for the info.. I measured it from the inside yesterday and it is a square one 15.5X15.5... Rather than getting a high dollar replacement I'll just put me a MAXX over it, I've got'em all over the top anyway!!!
