I have done it twice using EPDM brand rubber roof coating. As prep I carefully cleaned the entire roof then applied Eternabond tape over end cap and side seams.I also used it around the flanges for vents. I used alcohol to clean the places where the Eternabond would go then the next day again over the tape to help the coating stick. I had no
problem.
I have a 31' RV which required seven gallons. I think that was the minimum to get good solid coverage. I don't know your length but you may want to be sure that you have enough.
Search on rubber roof here and get tips on how to apply. I used a roller and then a squeegee on a long stick. I did it in the shade and away from trees that shed leaves.
You will be amazed at the results! If you take before and after then post them.
