We have a 2008 BT Cruiser 5272 that came with only one house battery. There is a shelf large enough for a second one which we intend to add. I have heard you must hook it up correctly so it charges properly. Can anyone help us with some directions. We have heard positive to negative and negative to positive, is this correct? Thanks!

Seth is correct. Hook it up in Parrallel. Positive-to-positive. Negative to Negative.

Be sure to use the same size battery cable which is already on your coach.

Thanks for the quick responses! Mutha, that is a great article and will prove very helpful. We had a Class A for years with two house batteries and were a bit surprised when we picked this one up that it only had one. At least they left room for it on the tray!
