Sirius Tuner

I have a 2008 Tour Master with a Jensen VR187 Radio.

I want to receive Sirius/XM radio and was told by two different sources that thw SCC1 Sirius tuner would plug right in the back of the radio and would work. It does plug in the back as decribed but does not work.
Has anyone had any luck getting the radio tuner to work.
Maybe I have to buy the DLP 2500 from a different source as they are not made anymore.

The VR187 requires the SIRIUS tuner model DLP2500. It is not compatible with the newer SCC1 SIRIUS tuner. Unfortunately, the DLP2500 is an older model and has been discontinued by SIRIUS; however, you may still be able to locate one that is still in stock at an online retailer.

If you are unable to source a DLP2500, you can always purchase a portable “dock-n-play” style SIRIUS tuner that can be connected to the AUX IN or used with a FM modulator. These “dock-n-play” tuners can be found at most consumer electronics retail stores.
