Tourmaster turbo failure

Our turbocharger failed on our 400 Cummins, total miles of 15,000 we only put on 2,000 of those miles. Garage and insurance says it's our fault. I now from having driven tractor trailer for 30 years that is not the reason. What should/can I do. Cost is over $10,000 I know this also is on the high side as well. It does need whole exhaust replaced, converter/muffler cost over $2,500. Any thought's?

What year is the MH and have you confirmed with Cummins thats its not still under manufacturer warranty. Who is your extended warranty with? What are they saying caused the failure? Also might want to also post under the Cummins forum and see if any assistance there.
