Are there any certain tow bars that work better with a DP Crescendo? Completely new to this, do not want to buy the wrong ones. Also, how do you know which autos are able to tow without altercations???

I agree. About 15 years ago I had one of those ultra light (Blue Ox) tow bars and one side failed in "flight". Blue Ox made good for the damage, no one got hurt.

I now use the Blue Ox 10,000 lb. set of bars. They might be heavier, but they sure are strong. And, I feel very safe with them.

I really like my Ready Brake Elite tow bar with surge brakes. Rated at 8k. I'm using a Blue Ox base plate with it. Very easy to install, non-invasive surge brake system.

I just bought a 2005 Alpha Gold and was totally in the woods about how or whether to haul a vehicle behind my new MH. This discussion just solved all my dilemas. The previous owner is offering to sell me his RoadMaster MH mounted towbar and brake unit with wiring. Now I see I need the transmission pump for my 2003 Toyota Solara. I'm set I think.

Hooray!
