Does anyone have experience or information on installing a larger LP tank or an auxiliary tank they would share with me? The tank on this unit is only 10 gallons - large enough to run the generator for about 10 hours. Not a happy situation in hot climates if you find it necessary to spend a night dry camping.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Some info on changing out the LP generator to diesel would also be welcome.

Changing out the LP tank is not hard but you will have to have the space to put a larger one in. You could add an Extend-A-Stay where DOT bottle(s) could be added to the system and add some hours. What model is your LP generator?

Thanks for responding!
The LP gen is a 3.6 kw.
Carrying portable tanks doesn't work as we don't tow anything with this unit and I wouldn't carry them on the rear.
The space where the current tank is located would allow for a larger diameter, but not longer. I haven't been able to find a supplier for larger diameter tanks. They are available, Wanderlodge used a pretty fat, but short tank.
Foolishly, I didn't want a 'noisy' diesel generator again, not thinking about run time on LP.

Thanks RV Wizard:
Went to the site, but the biggest tanks are about the same size as the one in the RV (10 gallons). Looks like I'm stuck with the maximum 10 hours of generator operation between LP fill ups. Either that or change the gen to a diesel.
