After looking at several coaches, my wife and I are now owners of a 1994 Gulf Stream Sun Voyager 34', B5.9L Cummins, Allison 6 speed, and 52,000 miles. I'll get pictures soon.
AND ITS OUR FIRST!!!

Going to look at a 91 tomorrow, please tell all. How is the power on hills? what about the rear ground clearance. I have a steep driveway and I am concerned about that.

jcoop, welcome to iRV2.com and the Gulf Stream Owners forum. We are glad to have you join us here and we look forward to reading of your adventures and experiences. One thing you could do is to get the angle of our driveway and road, when you get to the coach measure the distance of the front and rear wheels, the rear overhang, and the height of the lowest point at the rear. On paper draw to scale these dimensions, putting the rear wheels at the lowest point of the angle to determine ground clearance. Good luck and keep us posted.

JCoop , Welcome to iRv2.com . I notice your first post. Before you buy go for a test drive and if you are not too far away from home. Tell the salesman that the deal will depend on how it will make your steep driveway and not bottom out in the rear. Always remember toad w/o a toad might do it. under stress but what if you have a toad behind it..r your case you can leave your toad off till you get to a place for hooking up . Say a parking lot or church?

Hi, I occasionly check post here and just read you have a SunVoyager. I also bought a 93 wide body this spring, 5.9 pusher with the 4 speed auto.
I have made a lot of changes to make it easier to work on (mostly electrical).
My wife was sold on the layout as soon as she saw it, even though it needs a lot of work due to rust on the coach frame.
I look forward to your impressions with thet coach!
