03 40' Allure - Confirming tire size...

Helping a friend pick up a new to him 2003 40' Allure. The rear tires are OEM Toyo's, so due to age, we do not want to drive on them too far...

I 'assumed' that the tires are the same 12R 22.5 with 8.5 rims, that are on our 04 Allure 40' ?

Was able to find 8 new tires for him about 80 miles away, the same 295/80 22.5's that I'm running on now.

But, would hate for us both to fly into pick up the coach, drive to the Tire Warehouse to get the new shoes - to find I made a mistake with my assumption that 12R's were OEM.

Can anyone else with an 03 40' Allure confirm 12R's were OEM?

TIA, and best to all,
Smitty

Was looking on Damon's Model History (Thanks Damon!!!), and saw the 03 are the 12R's - so we'll be good to go...

Smitty did the same as you changed the 12r to 295/80. I researched my choices as I am lighter then you are but in my amateur opinion the 295/80 was the best choice of a replacement tire.

I guess I'm late to the party, but I looked at Damon's history, too, and I found CC didn't change Allure tire sizes as far back as 2002 and forward to 2006.

Damon's the man!
