12v power socket

Does anyone know where the fuse is located for the 12v power plug/socket (ours also controls the radio)?

Sounds like a Chassis Fuse..What Chassis do you have?

On a workhorse it SHOULD be on the Accessory panel near the parking brake pedal but can be on either of the boxes under the hood. Other chassis I can not advise.

If I remember correctly ours is an inline fuse in the wire that feeds the cigarette lighter socket. While looking for 12VDC to supply the power door lock that I was installing I remember thinking that it was a good thing to know where that fuse was in case it ever blew.

Did you check in the fusebox in the front DS bay where the windshield washer fluid container is?

Thank you all for the help. We found it so I wanted to post the response here in case anyone else is looking for it.

The 20 amp fuse for the 12v power socket on the dash is located in the main battery compartment
