1998 Country Couch...Please help with info

Hello to all. My father passed away recently and we are now trying to sell his RV. What is a good source to get additional information such as what kind of engine it has, how long it is, etc.. Any advice or help is appreciated. Thank you.

Damon Rapozo's web site may be a help: http://damonrapozo.com/
Although his model history seems to start at 1999.

Welcome to iRV2.
Sorry for your loss , most of us here have been through the same; 16 years ago now for me.

There should be a " RV weight sticker " somewhere in the coach , looks like the picture below. That will tell you the serial number of the chassis , and the model number that Country Coach assigned to the floor plan . From the model number you can get the length . There should also be a decal on the wall of the coach , inside near the drivers seat , that gives tire sizes and inflation and should have the chassis makers name. Once you have the serial number and the chassis manufacturer , you can contact the manufacturer for all the info about motor and transmission.
EDIT: Sorry I can't tell you exactly where to find the weight sticker , coach makers tend to put them in an out of sight spot, and you usually have to search for them.

One of ours is on the inside of the bathroom cabinet and another one on the outside wall in the foot well in front of the driver.

OP says they have a Country Couch so maybe there's no sticker on a couch? Yes, I have too much time on my hands at work!

Try listing it in the "Classifieds" section on this forum for starters.

RV Trader Online and ebay are good places to start. Your post does not indicate where in the USA you are, but if in TX you might consider PPL which is a consignment dealer in Houston. There are several good consignment dealers in Phoenix too.

My last motorohome I sold with the help of RV Trader Online. I put an ad on it and people called. Someone bought it eventually. If you sell it to a dealer it will be quick and easy but you will leave a lot of money on the table.

Once you locate the model and length, go to NADA.com and use the price tables for RV's to find the current info on that model of Country Coach.

NADA will provide the MSRP of the generic model and their calculation of current pricing.

RV Prices, Values & Reviews - NADAguides

For a 1998, the pricing could likely be low vs the actual market, depending on the condition and maintenance history of the rig you are selling.

Used CC are generally well regarded and desired due to the high end quality of construction and durability.

Have the rig detailed, maintenance history available, and all components working to get a maximum price.
