2000 Country Coach Intrigue 36

we are looking at this coach tomorrow. Anything we should be looking out for. It's sounds as if it has been serviced recently. 4 new tires. Price in the mid $40s. About 65k miles. On the surface its a good deal we think, but we are new at this. Our previous Rv was a Rexhall which we enjoyed but this one is much more sophisticated. Is service a problem as its on a CC chassis.

TIA

Dennis

Can't help but that is a good year for CC. The chassis should be a non issue for service or parts. Seems like a good price. This one looks pretty good also. Let us know how you make out. Maybe some pictures. RV SALES | RV SERVICE | RV PARTS – 1999 Country Coach Magna

not many issues for that year, a solid rig. the only things worth noting - cummins (you didn't say cummins or cat) exhaust manifold is prone to cracking, and fuel lifter a weak point - could develop a leak. those are cummins, not cc specific.

as for services, don't think it's any different than other major brand. have no experience in rexhall so can't compare the two. after acquisition, you might want to do lab analyses on oil and trans fluid. do a coolant test with fleetguard test strip. you should get a decent fuel mileage (9-10 mpg). enjoy it.

i couldn't edit my above post... the purpose of the lab tests is to know the health of the powertrain. if the seller allows you to do it as part of ppi, it would be a sure thing to protect you against unexpected loss, if any. good luck.
