2000 intrigue - where is tv power relay?

behind the front tv, there is a 120v power outlet. once i start engine, its power will be cut off. upon engine stopping, the power will be restored. there must be a relay powered by ignition line, by design.

i don't care for watching tv while driving, but to keep grand kits quiet tv seems to be a good tool. does anyone know where the relay is at? the schematics do not have it labeled.

Pull the cover off of the power box. There should be a relay in there that you can disconnect. Only one plug on the power box is affected by the ignition, that is the one the TV is plugged into right now. If you don't want to open the box up, change to the other plug.

Sometimes it is a case of "been there, done that".

I always tell the wife that I am a wealth of worthless information. She just thinks I'm worthless.
