2002 intrigue, what is this?

Does anyone know what the white box in the cabinet is for ? It does'nt seem to do anything.

That looks just like the angle indicator for the winegard rooftop manual crank up dish. It needs a 9 volt battery inside the cover to work.

It shows the angle of the dish as you crank it up, which is step 1 of aiming a manual SAT dish.

Do you have a rooftop SAT dish?

Ok I will open it up and check for a battery, it does have a crank up satellite .

With a good battery, push the little square button on the front face and it will start reading the dish angle on the dark plastic display in degrees from the horizon as you crank the dish up.

Thanks for the reply, that is exactly as you said, i installed the new battery and it works with the sat dish. you learn something new every day.
that thing has never worked since i bought the MH so i did'nt know what it was.

You are welcome...now take that battery out if you are not going to use it. A leaking 9 volt battery will make a mess in the cabinette and eat away the battery connector- yuck.
