2005 42 Ovation

I have found an 05 42' Ovation 3 slides 525 Cat that has caught my interest. Aside for the usual inspection items (Everything works as it should, battery and tire age, delamation/checking) is there any thing that may need extra close inspection.

Call Country Coach in Junction City and ask them. Tell them the coach number and they will look up the build sheet for you. Very nice people there. We had service done there 10 days ago.

Which model of CC is the Ovation? Is it an Intrigue? If yes those are great motorhomes. Some close friends of ours have a 2004 Foretravel, and I see you have one. Foretravel and the higher end CC's have similar components. Our Affinity has slightly nicer interior or for sure exterior paint, but their Nimbus is similar.

Aluminum radiators were a problem, and also the PTO. If it has not had the dry PTO replaced, it needs to be. The PTO mounts the hydraulic pump for the cooling fans and the power steering.

The Dry/Wet PTO was a recall item. As stated previously contact CC with the VIN number. They can let you know if it has been done.
