2006 Hydro Hot vs 2007+ Aqua Hot

We're looking as several CC Magna coaches and there seems to have been a change...Up 2006 they had Hydro Hot systems, but starting in 2007 they changed to Aqua Hot.

Is there any difference or additional performance between the two?

There really is no difference. Prior to that year the hydrohot was smaller than the Aquahot. Beginning 2007 all were called Aquahot with model designation to describe size and features.

The biggest differences between the Hydro-Hot and the Aqua-Hot in that time frame is that the Hydro-Hot only has two heating pumps, versus three on the Aqua-Hot, may or may not have a basement heater and has a six gallon hot water coil versus a 12 gallon hot water coil on the Aqua-Hot. I am surprised to see that CC used the Hydro-Hot in that model, but they knew what they were doing so I would not sweat it. I think you will have plenty of heat. You will probably always have to use the diesel when you take a shower versus being able to have enough hot water for a shower using electricity on the Aqua-Hot. My only experience is with the Aqua-Hot.
