2007 Inspire SeeLevel Sensor Strip Location

Sure could use some help in finding out where the SeeLevel gray and black sensor strips are located on my 2007 Inspire. The gray tank seems to be working at this time but has acted up before. I have looked inside the plumbing compartment on the passenger side (the one without a latch handle) and have looked behind a few of the removable covers in the water/sewer compartment to no avail. Before I start taking off the the main cover that has the city water, water tank fill connections and tank spray connection, I am hoping that someone out there has already had to accomplished this onerous task. SeeLevel recommended flushing the black/gray tanks with Happy Campers Extreme Tank Cleaner which I will try before taking the plunge. Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated by me and especially my wife (who knows what happens when I tackle tasks such as this one).

I never did find my black and gray water sensors. I would guess the are hidden between the two tanks and not at all easy to get to. I did find the fresh water sensor.

What kind of a problem are you having? I've been using Happy Camper for a couple of years now and recommend it highly. It will probably take a little time to clean your tanks if that's the problem. I make sure that if I dump the tanks I always put Happy Camper in the tanks, both gray and black, before traveling. This way it will slosh around and do a better job of cleaning.

On my 08 Allure the grey and black tanks are sort of L shaped and sit on top of the water tank. The sensors are stuck to the wall of each tank inside the L. You have to put your hand up and find them by brail. The black Tecma sensor is in the same area, I have just replaced the Tecma mid sensor which has fixed the false reading problem on its display. Perhaps the use of a mirror and torch will assist in locating them.
Now if you are getting erroneous readings on the seelevel sensors check the proximity of any metal, loose wires hanging, or wire supported hose. I had replaced the hose connection to my water pump with wire supported hose and it was too close to the sensor panel and caused faulty readings. In replacing my Tecma sensor the same happened with the wiring from that and had to tie that clear.

Be advised the Brit usage of the word "torch" is flashlight-not a flame producing device as those of us on this side of the Atlantic are used to! Looks like good advice.
