2008 CC Inspire

Looking at a used '08 Inspire on the lot at LazyDays. Any input as to the quality, features, and etc on this unit would be appreciated. I believe the unit is equipped with a CAT 425.

I've been doing allot of shopping lately myself ... surprised at how many negative comments I've heard about that particular CAT motor - specifically blown turbos?! Given that CAT won't be having much to do with on road engines in the very near future it gave me reason to pause, and I love CC by the way.

What's the scoop on the CAT engines. Are they no longer producing engines for RV's?

Cat is supposedly out of the "over the road" engine market because of emissions issues. They made the anouncement a number of years ago that 2010 would be their last year.

We bought an '06 Country Coach Inspire from Lazy Days last November and couldn't be happier! They took great care of us while we were in Florida and also after we got home to Oklahoma. The country Coach is everything we had hoped for. Very quiet and comfortable ride and the Cat motor presents no problem to me. It gets reasonable mileage with good power and Cat will support these engines as long as we are around.
