Great looking coach. I enjoyed their web site. Thanks for steering me that direction. In fact sent an e mail on one of their listings! Never know!

Quite a ways for you to travel! We looked at some of NorthTrails inventory on the Internet but it was too far for us and they sold the '07 London Aire I liked before I could get the DW interested in it.

Mr D, yes it is quite a way for travel. That a big consideration and expensive to view and inspect a coach. NT has some similar inventory but not a very good reputation after the sale. Premier has a nice looking 07 Magnum, your coach is still on the Internet, sweeeeeet!

A trip to Oregon is a great trip. We certainly enjoyed going there last summer and visiting both CC and Premier.
If I was interested in a coach in that area, I would not hesitate to contact Kevin Waite in JC before taking a trip to buy one. Kevin is a CC expert (former CC tech) and has a stellar reputation among CC owners for his ability and reliability. He routinely does coach inspections for prospective buyers.

Anybody know what coolant would be in it from the factory? It's green in color and the Old World Final Charge I just put in the Dutch Star is more of a red or pink. Trying to determine if it needs and extender or full replacement. Sure hope it's an extended life coolant and just needs the extender!

If it is light green/teal it is likely Fleetguard ES Compleat PG (Propylene Glycol) coolant. That is what was in mine. Step thru the fence and walk over to CC and ask for Greg Bootes . With your coach serial #, he can probably confirm that.
After 7 years mine tested weak for freeze point and marginal for SCA's so I had it drained, system cleaned and refilled with ES Compleat OAT which is like Final Charge.

We bought our Dutch Star (used) from North Trail. They do have a very large selection. I had a good, not great, service experience after the sale. They were/are building a new huge service area, and were in the throes of trying to finish, when an endangered turtle are was found stopping everything. The overreaching gov of Florida made them spend lots of $$$ and time to move them. I'm anxious to see how service is once the new facility is open.

The guys at Premier are supposed to do a check out and I'll ask them if they don't know I'll go over to CC. It's not much of a trip!
If it is I'll have to get some test strips since Cummins is only a mile or so away from both Premier and CC. I threw away a couple today as they were outdated by now.

VERY!
Just got a quote for a service policy. 50,000 miles/4 years for only $8,551!
I haven't spent that much on maintenance and repairs in the 12˝ years we've had the Dutch Star even if I include a new set of Michelins in there!

Mr_D: I got a 4-year ESW from Cornerstone for $8K and it also covers tires and rims on my 08 Affinity. I felt the same about paying so much, and was really against it. After seeing the complexity of the coach and also not having a good handle on the coach history, I figured I buy it. I may cancel it after a year.

I have a friend who purchased a 2007 Affinity new. He still owns and uses it. Electrical problems were a two year resolution issue for his rig.
Except for the engine and transmission, the next most complex and costly problems with your upper end rigs will be the electrical gizmos for the advanced features you have.
CC does an excellent job with wire numbering and schematics in their manuals, but some of that stuff, including the PCB's, are proprietary and produced in small quantity runs.
So if your warranties cover diagnosis, replacement or repair of the coach electrical systems and components, the warranty could be very valuable.
Hopefully by now those Gremlins were banished by the PO.

That's what we're hoping too! Will spend a couple days at Premier before heading to AZ for the Good Sam rally. Leaving the grandson home to watch the place while gone and the neighbors know we're gone as well as the alarm co.
But I just figured out that we have a water line break after the meter. Water usage is 6 TIMES what it was 2 years ago. Going to have to turn the water heater off and shut the water off before we leave to see what that does.
