I just bought diesel for $4.02 and $.03 Safeway card discount at the Junction City Safeway at the North end of town.
Kid doing the pumping felt sorry for the, over $400, he gave me the $.10 discount so I paid $3.92 per gallon.

You did good! Diesel here is about 4.59/gal,and the grocery store that offers the .03 & .10/gal discount doesn't carry diesel, and limits the discount to 25 gallons.

We also fueled up at the Safeway and topped off the tank with 37+ gallons. It is easy to get into the station from the intersection. We were also pleasantly surprised to be given the 10 cent discount on an already low price. Comparatively speaking.

It really says something when you're glad to be able to spend only $3.99/gal for diesel..
I can remember the day when we would spray diesel on the dirt roads to keep down the dust..my have the times changed....Let's hear it for Exxon and all of the rest of the oil companies that allow us to contribute to their outrageous profits...
