36foot 2002 Magna Tag Axle

I found a 2002 36' Magna tag axel with 81,000 miles for $149,000...... is this worth it? Seems like a lot for something so old.... I've found 40 plus foot newer models for less money. Just trying to figure out if this unit is worth it. It has 3 slides and apparently a rare unit. Any ideas what it's worth?

Seems way overpriced to me. It is no question that shorter DP's are popular but I just can't see why they put a tag on a 36' coach. I am sure it handles like it is on rails but can't have much exterior storage.

I would give Louie @ Premier RV of Oregon a call. They are in Junction City and have a lot of experience with used Country Coaches. Louie should be able to tell you what a correct price range would be for the coach you are considering.

NADA listing for 2002 37' Magna is between $70K and $85K. While the coach looks pretty clean in the pics (pics can fool you, for sure), it does seem $149K is pretty far out of line.

Wow. Hopefully optimistic and woefully overpriced.

Personally I see the large cat, and tag in a 37' as a downfall. The triple slide is rare for that year. The shorter coaches that are well kept do sell fast. It's not uncommon for 02, 03, 36' Intrigues with double slides to be close to the 100k asking price.

while I'm not a country coach owner, this unit looks very well kept, built, and has some nice amenities probably found in a more 'upscale' coach... plenty of HP, cat diesel, tag(must be a heavy coach!), side radiator, and I don't see that you really lose that much 'storage' just because of the tag... the interior could be a little out of date, but if it's really as good as it seems, what you pay for it is up to you. Now, if you're borrowing money against it - the bank may use figures that don't look the same.

When Terry buys a coach, he takes it to Oregon Motorcoach and they go through it and fix any problems. If there are any cosmetic issues on the exterior, he takes the coach to Straightline Auto Body for work. He does know his Country Coaches.

Nice coach, just too much money. If thats where prices are I'd sell my 2000 Allure for 80K

Terry at Kenai Coach does know CC's. Even though it does seem a little high, I would invite you to a new dealers lot, and see what you can get for the same amount. Trust me you'll be running back to the Magna.

I'll be in JC on the 20th so I'll go take a look at it. Not to buy it but to be nosy. Terry will be bringing 4-6 coaches to the Northwest Area rally in June

Seems I saw a similar coach for sale last year about this time. In fact, it was the same 37 foot, Tag axle Magna, but it was a different color. They were asking $119,000 for it as I recall.

Based on that alone I'd say this one is way over priced, but I'm sure if they wait long enough, someone that doesn't know any better will come along and shell out the cash for it!
