93 magna, voltage regulator.

Anyone know where my voltage regulator is hiding?

If you have a L & N 160A Alternator, like mine, it is in the Alternator.

My Gillig Manual has a 6 page detailed explanation for testing that Alternator.

Ah, but lots of good info on how to test to be somewhat sure before you pay somebody.

BTW, I have replaced the alternator 2x in eleven years and 65,000 miles.

It is cheaper if you dismount it and have it rebuilt or buy a rebuilt. It took me about 20 minutes to dismount and again to install the alternator.

Of course it took an hour each way to drive to the alternator store and 30 minutes to wait while they transferred the pulley and some other parts to the new one.

My time is free, which may not be your case.
