I have never sold a motor home before and we are getting ready to list ours. Luckily we have had a wonderful 7 year experience with our Allure and have not had any experience in selling an RV. I have had two strokes and it's time to hang up the keys. What are your recommendations for where, when, and how you would go about it.
to provide potential buyers information.

Thanks.

When I sold my last motor home I listed it several times on ebay, craigs list, and two on line companies. This was a 20,000 motor home though and not a CC. When I did sell it came from the listing on the on-line sales company. If I were going to sell my Affinity and I am not, I would start by listing on RVtraderonline and RVsearch online.

I agree with B Bob..

I recently went thru the experience of selling my 5th wheel. I had it listed on so many sites that I lost count. In fact it may still be out there. I found that ebay was almost a total waste of time effort and money. Most people on there are dealers
trying to steal your coach. The ones that do sell are so cheap that it drives down the asking price of all the others. I think you can expect to be about 25 to 30 percent below what it would have sold for a little over a year ago.

What I found was that most people are very concerned about purchasing long distance. So if they like your coach are they going to send you a deposit and drive thousands of miles to just see it??

There are also lots of on line scams that you will have to wade thru. The only two sites that I would recommend are the two mentioned above by Bob; both are reasonable and will generate interest.

In the end most sales are local. You might try ebay classifieds which lets you chose
you’re selling area. It is free and you are able to put up a description and photos.

Good Luck

Dick
