Air compressor fitting help
In my 2005 Allure I have a compressor fitting but my regular hose doesn't fit does anybody know the tip that does?

Well, I just spent some money on my education.
There appears to be quick connects labelled: A= Automotive T= Industrial and U=Universal.
A and T plugs will not fit each other's quick connects. All plugs should fit in a Universal quick connect.
Look on the trunk of your quick connect for letter mark and size (1/4" is common).
Buy a plug for your hose to match the label.

As Dean said. On the front drain valve on my coach PO installed a male plug so just went to Home Depot and bought a female QC to screw on my hose. My hose now has female quick connects on both ends.

Lol I'm going through the same thing. I purchased each one and none of them work. Seems as though they are to long. I actually busied the palm of my hand trying to push it in.

As I recall, the A model has a shorter plug stub than the T model. At home depot, the packaging is labeled as to type.
I now look only for the Universal type quick connect.

There are a few standard and some real odd bsll ones some with long neck.
Two common ones look came with one having a narrow ring and looks like a point or single screw thread.
The common one for auto shops looks same but the ring is longer and blunt.
Almost everything is one of those 2...the bins at harbor freight....
If ut is not one of those then it may be an odd one to insure proper hose or rather not the normal one.
Either po added something and they had that style or it is a special fitting.
Photos?
Maybe it is dpecial for brake lockout when towing or something else.
Are there any markings on the unit?

It could possibly have been added by a tow company to charge the system for towing, allowing the brakes to be released. I would just buy a new male and female universal style if your supplying your own needs. Take that one off.

Not so fast...
Ours has a normal fitting for using coach air, we tried to pressurize system so we could work on air bags without engine.
It had check valve to prevent back flow.
If this fitting is for brakes then it may not be good idea to use as air supply unless you confirm safe to do so.
It is not common for a reason.

Mine uses the "M" style Milton. The same as all my air tools.

Just to clarify on my coach the fitting is on one of the front drain lines-not a supply line.

Mike,
For those people using a tablet to read iRV2 posts, they can just flip it upside-down to read your photo BUT for those of us that use lap-tops or desk-tops. you photo is impossible to read.
Just sayn'.
