Not sure post #2 would help with the CC chassis.
Our CC uses a Bendix AD9 air drier, located behind the front axle, up high.
I unbolted 3 various sized air lines and one electrical line, then removed two bolts and dropped the whole thing to the ground.
The spin-on desiccant can is hidden underneath a larger can that is bolted to the air drier housing. I was lucky to have a larger oil filter wrench and it spun off the desiccant can easily.
The whole process took < an hour. The chassis paperwork (from Gillig in my case) mentions the AD-9 drier.
Good luck!
