We have a 1996 CC Intrigue 32 on a Gillig chassic, Installed a reman Bendix AD9 air drier and a new isolation valve. It is plumbed the same as before. also installed a new governor. I build air pressure to @120 psi it pops off, then it expels air for @ 4 1/2 minutes , air gauges on dash show a drop of 8 psi around 110. compressor kicks in and builds back to 120 psi. Is this normal? Also I do not have air throttle on cold start up with good pressure in tanks. takes about 1 minute for throttle to activate. With old air drier I always had throttle at start up? What does the isolation valve do anyway? BB.

Isolation valve allows compressor to drain.

Recheck your connection as they may not be correct

Should only blast air 1/2 second or so

Air dryer problem solved

The AD 9 air dryer on my CC intrigue has a Holset type E compressor and a Econ valve attached to dryer. I called Bendix help line and they said this set up needed a soft seat purge valve. i changed out the purge valve and air dryer is working . I feel it is still cycling to often. @ once a minute. I don't have throttle at start up , I may have a leak on the aux. tank ? still searching for answers. BB
