Alignments

I'm taking my Spartan MM over to Charlotte next week for an alignment and tires. Plus a PM. My question is, where do you owners that have custom chassis (CC, Newell, Monaco) take your coaches for alignments? I mean, with CC & Monaco out of business, where would an alignment shop get the specs? The truck alignment shops I called here in Ohio all recommended taking the coach back to Spartan. So what say you?

Shadrack,
I think the alignment issue is not so much tied a specific RV manufacturer as it is to manufacturer of the CHASSIS used by a given brand.

I have an older CC with a Gillig chassis (later they developed a proprietary chassis... Dynamax? I think) ...I have the Gillig manual, so a heavy equipment alignment shop can find the specs easily enough. Plus, I understand the Gillig chassis is underneath a lot of busses still in service.

So, depending upon the make of chassis, an RV owner may have either an easy time or a difficult time, IMHO.

I would appreciate knowing if my assumptions are correct, if you don't mind me "riding along" on your post.
Good Luck at any rate.
Jim
