anti freeze

Bought this 2000 Intrigue Cummins 350 hp motorhome. It has a Hurricane heater. The tec at Hurricane tells me that the cummins and Hurricane uses the same coolant. The coolant in the surge tank is green. The tec said that i need to use nontoxic antifreeze. Is the green stuff ok? Thanks Benchrest Ps the Cummins engine has a water filter wf2071 with 4 units of dca4.

It used to be that you could tell what antifreeze you had by its color but no more. I suggest you consult your engine's owner's manual to see if it recommends glycol or glycerin and use that one reguardless of color.
