We have 2005 Allure 470 with HWH air leveling. For 2 years we have had problems with going out of level, 'to extreme slope', after a few hours of the aux. air pump cycling on and off to re level us. Last summer we had HWH service shop in Elkhart, IN check it out and found no problem. However the symptoms continued. This summer we again took the coach back to the HWH service center with the same diagnosis. Still it continues. I have recently noted that the right rear quarter loses or discharges a lot of air after about 30 minutes of leveling. This is followed by a series of crunching sounds associated with a dropping of the rear quarter. Has anyone out there any idea of what's going on???

There could be a number of things that could be wrong. You could have a air leak but I would think a repair shop would have found that. You could have a bad controller but they are pretty bullet proof. I would lean towards the leveling sensor. It could be out of adjustment or after being on the road, the stuff in it doesn't come back together causing the controller to see an out of level situation so the system drops the same corner to try to level. The controller isn't active all the time. It goes to sleep and then will wake up to check for level every so often (15 minutes I think) and if it sees an out of level situation, it will try to level

I would spend some time on the phone with HWH and see what they have to say. You could make the trip to their factory in Moscow,IA

If you are in the Elkhart area, give Master Tech RV Services a call. They've worked on my 07 Allure are are great at troubleshooting and repair. Their # is 866 895-4556. They may save you a trip to Moscow, Iowa, that is.

I don't have your problems, but you could fix the symptoms by turning the system off after you get level. I do that.

OMC told us that we should level the coach with the motor running as the auxillary air pump is (for lack of a better term) "wimpy." Once it's level, I agree with BBob above, shut the system off or it will continue to check level every 30 minutes. If this doesn't solve the problem and you still get those "crunching" sounds, how far away are you from Oregon Motor Coach?
