Backup camera

I have a 2000 CC Magna Indulgence and the backup camera picture is fuzzy almost blank. I have looked at other threads and some say to look in the back closet for a way to check the connection at the camera. I don't have a closet. I have a mirror or two overhead storage pull outs depending on where one thinks the camera is located. I think the mirror. But my question is which is the place to check the wiring connection.

I have cleaned the camera lens. I have the Valor unit in the dash and I'm going to find something to check the monitor using the camera input, but all of the other applications are clear and very readable.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

On my rig, the back up camera is behind the OTR AC vent (as is the evaporator and ac dryer).

I access all from the driver side cabinet. I have to remove the common side wall by loosening four screws.

The camera is in the center of the rear wall and covered by an carpeted enclosure that will need to be removed.

Your backup camera is behind the mirror. After removing the mirror you have to cut a hole in the thin plywood behind the mirror. Be careful as there are metal braces under the plywood. After removing the plywood piece you will need to cut some foam insulation to gain access to the camera.

Wish I had taken measurements when mine was accessed so I could tell others where to cut.

CC didn't make it easy for Magna Indulgence owners.

Thank you Pete. It didn't look like it would be easy.
